How to use the printable grid
Choose a square size from 2 to 10 mm and bold intervals every 5 or 10 squares for charting cross-stitch motifs, pixel sketches or single-board bead layouts by hand. Row and column numbers follow your chosen bold-line interval so you can count across larger sheets without losing your place.
The preview and exported PDF share one true-scale millimeter layout on A4 or Letter paper. If a grid exceeds the printable area of the selected orientation, the tool reports the maximum columns and rows rather than shrinking the squares.
To convert an existing image instead of sketching on blank paper, open the cross-stitch pattern maker or single-board bead pattern maker.
