What happens to your files

Selected images are decoded on your device. A browser worker converts them into pattern data. This application does not upload your source image, pattern or project file to a server.

What is saved

The studio automatically saves the latest applied project in this browser’s local IndexedDB storage. It includes your source image, applied settings, material snapshot and pattern, and is replaced when a new project is saved there. It does not include pending settings, unfinished strokes or undo history. On return, choose Restore draft or Discard draft. This draft stays in this browser on this site; it does not sync across devices or domains.

Use Save project to download a portable JSON backup and check your downloads. Anyone with that file can access its contents. Reopen it in the studio to continue editing.

Site connections

Your browser requests the application files and built-in example from the site's host. Fonts and examples are included with the site. Usage analytics are provided by Google Analytics 4. They measure page visits, referral and campaign sources, device/browser information, approximate region, engagement, and fixed tool events such as generating a pattern or preparing a download. Analytics cookies help measure visits. We do not send your images, patterns, filenames, project contents or raw error messages. We do not use session recordings, advertising personalization, Google Signals or custom persistent user IDs.

Our host, Cloudflare, supplies a country-based policy without returning your IP address to the application. Analytics stays off until you allow it in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland. It is on by default in other identified regions, unless you turn it off or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If the region cannot be identified, it stays off unless you choose to enable it. This regional setting is not a claim that every international data-transfer requirement has been met.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to turn analytics on or off. Declining prevents Google Analytics from loading. Turning it off stops subsequent analytics collection and removes analytics cookies accessible to this site; requests already sent cannot be recalled. Your versioned choice and its date are stored locally, and withdrawal also applies to other open tabs. An earlier Clarity refusal is preserved; an earlier Clarity acceptance is not treated as Google consent. Google may process analytics data on servers outside your country. See Google’s privacy policy. Blocking analytics does not affect image conversion, saving or downloads.

Before you leave

Check the browser-draft status and download your project before leaving. Recent changes can be lost before a draft write finishes, and browser storage may be cleared or unavailable. A saved browser draft does not mean you have downloaded a backup. If another tab updates the draft, this tab pauses saving until you choose to take over.
